Well since i've been here i've made another 5 hats, i'm almost ready to send the first box out.  I've been crocheting like crazy between jobs lol
I haven't had time to get batteries for my camera when i have a few spare moments i'll take pictures and put them here.

It feels so good to be home and have no where to go lol
i'm trying to get my camera to work so i can take some pics of my hats.
I think i can make another 3 today..i should have time.  I'm still looking for volunteers to make hats, please let me know if you are interested, just one hat is a help.

I'm On My Way :)

Well since i last wrote here i have added a hat maker to my group.  Fran has volunteered to make some hats and add them to the collection which is growing quickly.  If your reading this and feel you want to help please contact me. It would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you Sue for helping me to get started also appreciated.

How i got the idea...

One day i was home sick with strep throat and had been laying down most of the day when i decided to surf the internet for patterns and came across this wonderful sight called 'head huggers'.... this lady Sue Thompson had started this group of people who sew, crochet, and knit hats for people who have undergone chemo, burn wounds, or brain surgery.  I thought i would love to donate my hats but why send them away when i can make them for the ones who need them in Windsor and Essex County.
So im on my way on a new adventure with anyone who would care to join me.
